Stairwell Productions is an independent production company devoted to vital, dynamic work, produced with integrity. Founded in 2019 by Matt Ross and named for its humble beginnings, Stairwell is deeply invested in working with the artists who inspire us, and empowering them to do extraordinary work. ​

Matt Ross is a theatrical producer and publicist based in New York. His Broadway producing credits include Pass Over, Is This A Room/Dana H, and the Tony-nominated Broadway engagement of Heidi Schreck’s What the Constitution Means to Me, its national tour, and live capture film for Amazon. Other producing credits include the Tony Award-nominated productions of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 and On The Town.
He is also the co-founder of Print Shop PR (formerly Matt Ross Public Relations), an agency representing a broad spectrum of theatre productions and companies in New York and beyond including New York Theatre Workshop, MCC, Center Theater Group, the Irish Repertory Theatre, Classic Stage Company, Primary Stages, Clubbed Thumb, Baltimore Center Stage, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, New Georges, the Tank, HERE, 59E59, the Sol Project, The Movement Theatre Company, the Dramatists Guild, and The TEAM. Matt has been a press agent since 2005. Prior to the formation of MRPR/Print Shop, he worked at The Hartman Group, Boneau/Bryan-Brown, and Keith Sherman & Associates, representing nearly Broadway productions.
